Reality: Went too hard on the first day, and now you need the rest of the time to recover.

Expectation: To get so tan that you're unrecognizable.

Reality: Get so burnt that your friends don't want to recognize you.

Expectation: Buy really cool clothes and souvenirs that no one else has.

Reality: You have no money and everything is so damn expensive.

Expectation: Come home with a cool new profile picture, or at least an Insta-worthy photo.

Reality: Too drunk to remember to take a picture.

Expectation: The people you are going away with are the best and will make for an amazing trip.

Reality: Every little move they make starts to bother you after the second night.
