The groundhog saw his shadow, which means there is 6 more weeks of winter approaching us. However, because the snow is finally starting to melt, I've been daydreaming about Spring and the wonderful things it brings with it. Spring is a time of rebirth, the flowers and trees start blooming, the animals come out of hibernation, the sun starts shining, everything feels new and refreshed. The same goes for people: we no longer have to be bundled up, we start incorporating more color into our wardrobes (some of us, not me particularly), and spring beauty and fashion take the streets by storm. Fall fashion week had 6 reinvented beauty trends that you will be seeing everywhere this Spring! Here's your guide to each one.

1. Bold Lips

Not only will this season embrace the classic red lip, but also orange, fuchsia, and purple. It's spring! Why not electrify your pout with all these happy colors? Also, say goodbye to the matte! For spring, bring out the lip gloss. It provides a shiny, youthful look. A common thread between all of these trends is shine...

In above photo I am wearing Lancome Color Design lipstick in Socialite and Lancome lip gloss in Intense Fuchsia. This is one of my favorite combinations!

2. Glow factor

Strobing, a fancy term for highlighting, is going to continue to be all the rage this season. What's really great is if you don't own highlighter, you can get an angelic highlight just from moisturizer, primer, and hydration! In case you're a season behind, strobing took over contouring on the fall runways. It provides a more natural look than chiseling your cheekbones and makes you glow like the star you are.

Pictured above are my go-to highlighters. The palette is the Carli Bybel palette by BH Cosmetics. There's 4 highlighters to choose from. I use the champagne (second from left) on an everyday basis. The L'oreal Liquid Glow Illuminator I mix in with my foundation to give my skin a dewy, fresh look.

3. Unexpected POPs!

The no-makeup trend is still quite popular, but on the spring runways pops of pink, yellow, and blue were eye-catching. To achieve this look, keep the rest of your look neutral and swipe your color of choice across your eyelids, or somewhere more unexpected (eyebrows, across your cheeks).

To achieve this purple look, I used Lancome Color Design eyeshadow in Drama and Clinique All About Shadow trio in going steady.

4. Smudgy liner

Unless you're trying to achieve that classic Hollywood style, traditional eyeliner hasn't been in the forefront of beauty for quite a couple seasons. This spring if you want to go back to your old eyeliner stomping grounds, wear it imperfect and smudged. A great way to create this look is to apply black or grey eyeliner on your lower waterline or swipe it across your upper lid. It has a very effortless "I woke up like this" kind of vibe, and any time you can feel like Beyonce you might as well embrace it.

I made thick lines on my lower lashes and smudged it with a Q-tip. My go to eye-liner is Lancome eyeliner pencil in Black Ebony. I love pairing this look with feathery lashes. Here I used Maybelline waterproof the falsies push up drama on my top lashes and Lancome high definition mascara on the bottom.

5. Blushing beauty

What better way to showcase the hues of spring than on your cheeks? Rosey pink is the color of choice this season and there is no such thing as subtle. The models on the runway had a heavy handed application of pink on their apples and up to their temples. If you're intimidated by this idea, start with a light application and build as you go.

These are the best blushes I've ever used. On the left is Lancome Powder Blush in shimmer pink pool. It's fun and vibrant, perfect for this Spring season. Above is the Clinique chubby stick cheek colour balm in robust rhubarb. This product is more of a peach which I love on my skin tone. On the right is Nars blush in Orgasm. This product is featured in so many makeup tutorials and has been my go-to through the winter season. I'm so ready to make my application of this product more dramatic this season.

6. No such thing as TOO MUCH glitter

Glitter is back and here to stay, and I don't mean already mixed into your eyeshadow. Loose glitter is being applied to lips, eyes, even eyebrows, in various colors. My favorite? Hot pink on my bold lip. Perfect for Girls Night Out!

To get this look, I used the same duo as the Bold Lip and just added some hot pink loose glitter.

One thing to keep in mind, if you're focusing on one of these trends be sure to wear it by itself so that you look like you know what you're doing. Having a bold lip with a natural eye will look much more complete than with pairing it with smudgy liner.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
