I've never been a die-hard Pokemon player and I don't believe I ever will be. However, even I can't deny that this new app has some creative merit behind it. I, myself, have been enjoying the thought of catching my own Pokemon for fun and have done so since the day the app was released. Since then, I have experienced most of the following events and emotions. Take it away, SpongeBob.
1. Realizing your dream of becoming a Pokemon Master is within reach:
2. Travelling across the land to search far and wide for Pokemon:
3.Catching your first Pokemon in the real world:
4. Finally reaching Level 5 and picking a team:
5. Finding other people on your team (Bonus: you found them in the real world)!
6. Trying to find where the new Pokemon are located because your compass is little help:
7. Going to the gym for the first time:
8. When another team challenges you at a gym your team controls:
9. Trying to collect enough of the same Pokemon to evolve one in particular:
10. Becoming a Gym Leader:
11. Losing your position as Gym Leader and low-key vowing revenge!
12. Servers crashing right before you catch a rare Pokemon!
13. Keeping an eye on anyone who isn't on your team:
14. Noticing that only two teams matter (apparently):
15. Discovering the results of actually getting up and doing something:
16. Realizing you're addicted:
17. Finally having a distraction from the disaster that is the world around us:
18. When your mission is to be the very best like no one ever was:
19. Ignoring the people who don't enjoy life with Pokemon:
20. Having places to be and stuff to do because of Pokemon:
