Whether you were in a relationship or not this Valentine's Day, you probably recognized what day it was, one way or another.
For some of us, it was a day to celebrate with the one we love the most.
For others, it was only a reminder of how we couldn't get the super hot guy in Psych class to take us out to dinner Sunday night:
But maybe it was a chance for you to hear that you're the most beautiful, special girl on Earth.
Or maybe you checked your Tinder, and someone DM'd you "ur hot" with some unsolicited "sexy" valentine's day nudes:
Inevitably, some of you got a text from your ex that said, "Happy Valentine's Day! We should hang out sometime, I miss you :(" in which case this GIF would've come in handy:
Or maybe you texted the ex first and then realized what a terrible mistake it was (it's OK, we've all been there).
Maybe your roommate bought you a Valentine's present because she knew you weren't going to get one from anyone else:
But then you guys heard your neighbor's noisy love-making and tried to drown out the noise:
Because they were doing some really weird role-playing stuff:
And maybe you both agreed that it would be OK to die alone together:
But then you guys had a little party at home (if you substituted happy-hour fishbowls for the ice-cream, no judgment).
And tried to go to Qdoba later because it said you could get a free burrito on Valentine's Day and then they told you it was only if you kissed someone while in line:
So you guys left but felt OK because you realized you saved some money:
But whether you spent this Valentine's Day feeling alone:
Or you felt like the luckiest girl/boy in the world because you had someone to share it with:
I hope you were able to feel the love from someone.
