Finals week is coming and let's face it, no one is ready. We've suffered through a semester of lectures, chapters, and papers, and most likely, still aren't completely sure of what the class is about. That doesn't mean we have to completely give up right? Let your brains hurt a little less and laugh along with everyone's favorite underwater sponge as you battle your way through finals.

It's the class before your final and your teacher asks if you have any questions.

Your silence makes your professor assume you know everything.

You try to sit down and learn the information but the words don't seem to make any sense.

Your procrastination hits a high point.

Finally, its the morning of the exam and you've spent the entire night before cramming a semester's amount of knowledge.

You look down at the exam sheet in front of you and have a mini heart attack.

You leave the exam room feeling like you've lost a piece of yourself.

You fear the wrath of your parents when you have to tell them about your failed final.

Until finally, your grades have come in and you see that you've passed with flying colors and everything in your life is good again.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
