Spoken Word poetry is an art that is growing in popularity for the past decade. Spoken Word, by definition, is an oral art that focuses on the aesthetics of word play and intonation and voice inflection. Many if not all poets that practice Spoken Word focus of a theme their poem(s). Some of these theme include, love and loss, birth and death, and joy and sorrow. I found this poetry in the high school and I never looked back. It is so raw and full of emotion. These are some of my favorite quotations from some of my favorite spoken word poems. Enjoy!

(These are all just quotations. If you want to watch the full poems, I've attached links to the poets name after the quotation.)
