The Real Reason Why 'Spider-Man' On PS4 Is So Fun Is Because It's Challenging

When playing this game, the player must be careful and skillful in maintaining Spider-Man's life.

During Black Friday, my sisters and I bought the PlayStation 4. Best Buy sold it on a great deal. When we bought it, Marvel's "Spider-Man" came with the system as a free game. My sisters and I did not want it at first because we were waiting for "Kingdom Hearts III" to come out on January 29, 2019. We believed that it was better than "Spider-Man." We wanted to sell the game, but it said that we cannot sell it online. We will get in trouble if we do so. We hoped that we can pass the game to someone who has a PS4.

Within a month, that game still stayed with us. Man, if we can just get rid of it. During Christmas, relatives from Malaysia came to visit us. While the adults talked to our parent, we wanted to entertain two little male cousins with the PS4. The two cousins were very excited to see the PS4 and "Spider-Man." Oh, geez. Out of all games like "Minecraft" and "Pac-man," they chose "Spider-Man."

The boys turned on "Spider-Man" and I began to think that the game was not that bad as I expected.

The opening scene was interesting and the setting of the game took place in New York. New York felt so real in the game. It was surprising that Spider-Man was voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor of Sasuke Uchiha in the anime series "Naruto," "Naruto Shippūden," and "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations." I never thought that he would be Spider-Man's voice in the game because the Spider-Man movies were played by different actors. It was hard to hear Spider-Man's voice in the game because his voice only comes out of the Dualshock controller. It was odd because I could hear the other characters from the television. No matter how many times I altered the voice settings, Spider-Man's voice still stayed in the Dualshock controller.

The boys kept losing in the game. I understood that it was not an easy game. When Spider-Man fights against his enemies, his health bar receives a lot of damage which means that he can get killed very easily and quickly. Spiderman can heal himself, but you need combo attacks and a new suit to strengthen his healing powers. I was hoping that he could get more defense for himself. When playing this game, the player must be careful and skillful in maintaining Spider-Man's life.

At one point in level one, Spider-Man must face the big and fat Fisk boss that leads the Fisk thugs. The boys had difficulty in fighting the boss. They kept losing and sometimes, they made Spider-Man run away from the boss. When their uncle watched them play, he said, "C'mon, kids! You guys are Spider-Man! Spider-Man does not run away from his enemies!" If Spider-Man was here right now, he would have finished the battle as quick as possible.

Later on, the boys asked me to help them with the boss battle. I volunteered to help them and try out the game. It was not that bad. I lost a few rounds with the big fat Fisk boss. After those rounds, I began to have an idea of how to play the game. The boys gave me some instructions and I followed. As they watched me play, their mouths opened wide in surprise towards my powerful moves. A few punches later, the boss battle shifts to the story mode and Spider-Man finished off the fat boss. I was very proud of myself because I never knew that I could play the best Spiderman in the household.

The boys got a little further in the game and I helped them sometimes when needed. I lost a few times because I needed to adjust to the battle, situation, and controller. Despite the losses, I got them further in the game. They never finished the game because they went back to Malaysia with their family a few days later. I enjoy playing "Spider-Man," but I am still unsure on whether I should continue the game by myself or sell it like I said in the very beginning.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
