Lately, college girls have been coined as “basic” or even worse, “basic betches.” Honestly, I don’t mind because I love Starbucks and my pompom hanging from the mirror of my car, but what my heart truly desires is Crispy Spicy Tuna.
When you live in Miami, you’re privileged to have some of the freshest fish in the United States. Sometimes your biggest issue may be trying not to drool over your food before you get the chance to take a photo to post on your Instagram. I’ve made it a New Year’s resolution to help spread my findings on the freshest (and best looking) food in the area.
Here’s my go to list for where to find the best Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice in Miami.
1. Makoto
Located in the prestigious Bal Harbour Shops, Makoto features a modern Japanese menu including sushi bar. While you may have to drive to this location, the spicy tuna crispy rice with serrano chili is worth it and is very affordable at only $12.
2. Bazi
Bází is a modern, Asian-inspired restaurant located in the heart of South Beach Miami. Many may come for the atmosphere, but I come for the crispy tuna with Bazi rice, spicy mayo and chives for $18.
3. Pubbelly
A trip to South Beach isn’t complete until you eat your body weight in Pubbelly Sushi – make sure to order the big eye tuna on crispy rice with a truffle drizzle; it’s delicious!
4. Katsuya South Beach
Katsuyaoffers a luxurious and sleek dining experience. The menu consists of unique Japanese cuisine and sushi. Find yourself overwhelmed while reading the menu’s options? Look no further than their Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna --grilled sushi rice, topped with spicy tuna and jalapeno for $14.
