I don't have coworkers, I have a family.

To my team,

As we approach the next couple weeks things will start to change. People will take some time off to go on one last vacation before summer ends. Internationals will begin to plan explorations of our country before they go back to their home country. Soon people will be leaving to go back to college. Before you know it, summer is going to be over.

I want to begin by thanking you. Thank you for a incredible season so far (it's not over yet!). Thank you for the nightly Wawa and occasional diner dates, I wouldn't want to blow my paycheck any other way. Thank you for putting up with my crap for the past couple months. Thank you for dealing with me not only when I was tolerable, but also on days where you probably wanted to punch me in the throat. You helped make those 15 and 17 hour shifts now and then tolerable. You tolerated me when I was at my worst, and I can't thank y'all enough for that.

Next, I'd like to apologize. I'm sorry for the days where I was hungry or tired or irritated. I'm sorry I was intolerable for the majority of the summer. I'm sorry about the nights that I was hangry because I made the poor choice not to eat before my shift. I'm also sorry that I broke a lot of things (and that I suck at my job). To anyone who was around the day of the kettle corn incident, I apologize for being an idiot. I'm also sorry that I complain all the time (and I mean like every 5 seconds).

Now, I want you all to know that I'm nothing without you. Work is fun because of you. The long shifts don't seem so long when y'all are around. I wouldn't make it through my summers without you guys, and I really don't know how to picture my summer without y'all in it.

I don't know what life has in store for me next summer, but I hope that y'all are in that picture in some way, shape, or form. I love you all and I can't thank you enough for being such an incredible team that I'm able to be a part of.

I wish the best for all of you.

Sincerely,

A grateful coworker

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
