May is a special month. Not only is May the month when Mother’s Day falls, but a week later, it is my mom’s birthday. My mom, just like moms all around the world, deserves more than just one special day a year. She does everything for me, looks out for me, and has raised me to be the best man that I can be.

My mom is intelligent; she is always there to help me figure out anything when it comes to school. If I do not understand an equation or question on my homework, I immediately turn to my mom and we work on it together! She taught me to never give up, and we never stop working on something until it is completed.

My mom is hard working. She gets up early Monday through Friday to go to her work, which is 40-45 minutes away from our house. She works hard to be not only a supervisor at her job but one at home as well. Working to pay for my education, put food on the table, give us nice clothes to wear, and gift her grandson toys for when he comes over for the weekend. That is a hard working woman!

My mom is beautiful. She always looks amazing and I am proud to say she is my mom. I love and appreciate my mom’s beauty!

My mom’s unconditional love. My mom always loves her family and helps each and every one of us be the best that we can be. Her affection is what keeps me going through all the hard times and what encourages me to keep being better than I was the day before.

I have a wonderful mother and I'm sure you do, too. There are too many things that we should appreciate about moms. Every Mother’s Day and birthday. we should look back at all the things she has done for all of us and the other people in your family.

College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
