The first snow of the season in Charlotte is here!
So, any normal person filled with a winter-y spirit would be excited for a couple days of enjoyable snow, right?
NOPE.
Snow in the South means a tremendous time of slippery roads and packed supermarkets because down here, many believe that a couple inches of snow means that preparations should be equivalent to stocking up for an apocalypse.
Practically the entire state of North Carolina is in a state of emergency and not one snowflake has hit.
Normal? Yes.
Thank you, weather channel.
Snow in the South, completely overrated and NOTHING like snow in the North, is mainly sheets of ice caused by the little but impacting snow that melts and refreezes, therefore, freaking out every Southerner that comes in contact with it.
So, as you're scrolling through your feed and stumble upon this article, please pray for the thousands upon thousands of Southerners who are scared to death about their white, cold enemy known as snow.
