Here is some proof:
1. A lot of Southerners don't use their blinkers when driving.
Whereas Northerners have the consideration and courtesy to do so. After all, they're called indicators for a reason. Yes, I'm talking to you Southerners.
2. Employees at restaurants are rude and grumpy in the South.
Whereas most employees I've encountered in the North are super friendly and cheerful.
3. Southerners yell and holler.
While Northerners treat you like family rather than a stranger.
4. The cops are way nicer in the North.
Not saying that there aren't nice ones in the South, but there are definitely more cops in the North that are nicer. Even the cops at Greenville airport are mean when directing traffic. Not true for the North, not in my experience.
