You know you're from SoCal when...

1. ...your non-SoCal friends make fun of you for being cold in 50-degree weather


Winter in New England is seriously a struggle.

2. ...people think you talk like a "Valley girl"

Like seriously?!

3. ...people ask "have you seen any celebrities?"

In concerts, yes, but on the streets, no.

4. ...you realize some people have never had legit Mexican food

Taco Bell is NOT Mexican food.

5. ...when you miss sunny days at the beach

Vitamin D deficiency was never a reality until I moved to the East Coast.

6. ...you realize people don't say "the 101"

You slightly miss the traffic...

7. ...you miss In-N-Out


A double-double with raw onions + animal fries = the Holy Grail

8. ...you understand that the West Coast is the best coast

Don't get me wrong, the East Coast is pretty beast, but home is where it's at.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
