There are many hidden gems in South Carolina. From the mountains in the upstate to the coast in the low country, South Carolina is the best state to take road trips. Pack up your bags, bring some snacks, get a playlist that is boppin' and seek out adventure! Without further ado, here are some places to add to your road trip.

1. Caesars Head State Park

Let's start at the top, South Carolina's mountain ranges. Caesars Head State Park is in South Carolina's upstate. With mountain ranges as far as the eye can see, visiting in fall provides a view that looks like a painting. You won't want to miss this view.

The most popular trail at Caesars Head State Park is the Raven Cliff Falls. You will only fall more in love with South Carolina visiting this sight.

2. Boone Hall Plantation

Boone Hall, famous for being in "The Notebook", is a must-see in Charleston. Being there, you feel the South from the history to the elegance of the willow trees. You might even see a picture-perfect wedding happening. Each view is a snapshot of Southern bliss.

3. Congaree National Park

Now for the Midlands! Who knew a swamp could be so serene? Here at Congaree National Park, the Boardwalk Pier goes for miles on end through the swamp. You are surrounded by nature. You could even see a wild hog! At the same time, you will pass multiple smiling faces, also enjoying the peace of being in the forest. South Carolina's slogan is indeed: "Smiling Faces, Beautiful Places."

4. Cypress Gardens

Back in the Lowcountry near Charleston is Cypress Gardens. Kayak through the beauty of the Cooper River. Here is another "Notebook"-famous location. Stop by Boone Hall Plantation as well with your significant other and there you go, the perfect date!

5. Lynches River State Park

This state park takes being in a tree house to the next level. Come here to feel your inner kid come out. Outside Florence, here you can walk miles on elevated walkways. You will feel like Tarzan and Jane running through the forest.

6. Folly Beach

Last but not least, who can forget about the beach? All along the coast, South Carolina has beaches right out of a vacation catalog. One of the most famous beaches is Folly Beach. Stop by to work on your tan and play in the sand.

Moral of the story, get your adventure on this fall. South Carolina is as diverse as it gets: beaches, swamps, history and more. If you want it, we got it. With beautiful places and smiling faces, you will never be disappointed!

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
