Every summer has a soundtrack. This summer, I was extremely impressed by the music that the country industry – my favorite – shared with fans. These memorable summer songs will be on repeat long after Labor Day weekend.

1. "Wasted Time"

Keith Urban’s single from “Ripcord” encompasses the true meaning of summer. He sings, “Ain’t it crazy how the best days of my life, was all that wasted time.” Summer is exactly that – wasted time that makes so many memories and means so much in the long run.

2. "Vice"

Miranda Lambert’s newest single is the most honest song of the summer. In “Vice,” Miranda pours out her heart. The song’s lyrics and sound is true to Miranda, and she shares with her audience that she’s had an emotionally exhausting year, but she’s accepting it for what it was and is recovering beautifully.

3. "Yours"

This song, performed by Russell Dickerson, is a true love ballad. He sings of being the best version of himself after meeting the girl he loves, which is a true testament to love. This single is truly heartwarming and repeat-worthy.

4. "Different For Girls"

This duet, performed by Dierks Bentley and Elle King, highlights the differences in how guys and girls deal with losing love. With that, the combination of Bentley and King’s voices makes for a satisfying musical experience.

5. "American Country Love Song"

Jake Owen does it again. “American Country Love Song” just adds to his summer repertoire, joining “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and “Beachin’” as iconic summer country songs.

6. "Wasn't That Drunk"

Carly Pearce joins Josh Abbott Band in this fast-paced song describing two sides of a night out. The song’s build-up adds to its attractiveness while making for the perfect song to turn up the volume and sing along to in the car.

7. "From The Ground Up"

This Dan + Shay song describes a love story starting from the very beginning and lasting until forever. It’s the type of song that makes you believe that this forever love is real and attainable. The song will keep you smiling from start to finish.

8. "Summer"

Cassadee Pope’s “Summer,” from her Summer EP, tells the story of a summer love that comes to an end as the summer does. Like a first summer love, this song will stay with you long after the warm weather disappears.

9. "Night's On Fire"

Fresh off of his album “Fire,” David Nail’s “Night’s On Fire” is a classic summer song that’ll have you yearning to roll down the windows of your car and blast your favorite summer playlist on a late summer afternoon.

10. "H.O.L.Y."

This Florida Georgia Line song is the first track on my summer playlist. It’s a beautiful love ballad that carried me from the start of my summer to its end.

11. “Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day”

This song is classic Luke Bryan – a catchy tune that has you singing along all summer long. It’s a great song to turn up while you’re spending time on the beach or at the lake.

12. "Humble and Kind"

Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind” is a song for all seasons. It’s the perfect reminder to keep your personal values as priorities, and to always stay humble and stay kind in all that you do.

These twelve songs topped my Summer 2016 Spotify playlist. Every time I hear them, I’ll be transported back to those memorable summer days, and I hope that you enjoy them as much as I always will.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
