Sounds like the DNC

Every four years politicians, delegates and passionate citizens gather together for an epic four-day convention that produces their political parties President and Vice President candidate for the upcoming election a few months later. This past week the Democratic National Party held their convention in the Wells Fargo Center located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Democratic National Convention (DNC) had a scandalous start when their chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned from her position due to a trove of 2,000 leaked emails revealing how the DNC favored Clinton throughout the primaries. As a result Sanders feverish supporters became even more so finding out that their candidate was put at a disadvantage by his own affiliate party.

Fortunately overall the convention went well with historic moments and incredible highlights that can be expressed trough the following songs.

Day One: Monday July 25

Cory Booker: The New Jersey Senator set a great tone for the convention with reasons why Americans differences make us a stronger country together.

"We're All In This Together" High School Musical Cast

Bernie Sanders: The Vermont Senator and former presidential candidate shocked his supporters when he encouraged them to vote for Clinton in order to defeat Trump. Just replace ladies with voters and you'll get the tone.

"Formation" Beyoncé

First Lady Michelle Obama: Like she did in 2008, our First Lady delivered a powerful speech that illustrated how America is the greatest country on Earth. The United States will have the opportunity to elect its first female president.

"Umbrella" Rihanna

Day Two: Tuesday July 26

Mothers of the Movement: A group of mothers who all had a child die from police brutality spoke together and made a powerful statement to voters and a memorable moment of this convention.

"Rise Up" Andra Day

Formal Presidential Nomination of Hillary Clinton

"Run the World (Girls)" Beyoncé

Bill Clinton: The former president shared the journey he and Hillary took together from the moment they met to the 2016 DNC. Hillary is often critiqued for her aloofness but her husband was able to peel back that perceived layer and show her in a more personal setting.

"My Girl" The Temptations

Day Three: Wednesday July 27

Tim Kaine: Hillary introduced America its new step-dad who's filled with corny jokes and bad impressions, but wants nothing but the best for you. Outside of being Virginia's Senator I imagine this video is his daily life.

"It's A Dad's Life"

Vice President Joe Biden: In the only way Biden could he called out the harm Trump is causing to our nation and he is sick and tired of it.

"We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore" Twisted Sisters

President Barack Obama: Number 44 is a special president that America probably won't see again any time soon and his speech confirmed that. Many will miss him once he's gone but he wants us to know that if elected Clinton will be the perfect candidate for the job.

"Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing" Stevie Wonder

Day Four: Thursday July 28

Women in the U.S. Senate: Hillary's colleagues where able to talk about her work in the Senate as a leader which adds to her impressive and expansive resume which qualfies her for this office.

" Independent Women, Pt. 1" Destiny's Child

Chelsea Clinton: Like her father Chelsea was able to shed light on what Hillary is like as a mom who raised her into a strong woman and mother.

"A Song For Mama" Boyz II Men

Hillary Clinton : Rightfully so Hillary is a survivor who continues to break through glass ceilings so others can follow their dreams with more ease.

"Survivor" Destiny's Child

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
