My girlfriend is the goofiest and the weirdest, but she's perfect to me. She's my whole universe, and I would do anything in the world for her! Here are 7 silly reasons I know she's the one for me:

1. When it comes to root beer floats, she only wants the ice cream while I only want the root beer

It's super convenient that she enjoys eating the not-so-great ice cream out of my perfectly good root beer.

2. She's always warm, and I'm always about to freeze to death

I love having my own personal little heater to defrost me.

3. She'll eat all the Peeps out of my Easter basket

I don't know how I found a girl who likes Peeps, but I'm never letting her go. I'll never have to deal with another marshmallow peep for as long as I live.

4. She's outgoing and brings my highly introverted self out of my shell

Whenever I’m around a lot of people, I’m always quiet and nervous, but she makes me feel better. I’m still not the most talkative person in the world, but she makes me feel like I can be myself and talk without having to overthink every little thing!

5. She eats the pickles off of sandwiches for me

I love pickles, but I do NOT want those sour demons on a sandwich. Luckily, my girlfriend happily takes care of them.

6. ...and I eat the tomatoes off for her.

I cannot explain the amount of hate she has for tomatoes, but I love them. I guess that just means more tomatoes for me!

7. She quite literally brings spice into my life considering 99.9% of the time she has a bag of hot Cheetos in hand

Not a day goes by that her fingers aren’t coated in Cheeto dust, and I love her for that.

There are a million reasons I love her, and I know I’ll discover a billion more during the lifetime we have together.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
