The Most Addicting YouTuber Ever

If you’ve gone through every SVU episode and/or Holocaust documentary on Netflix, and you’re looking for something new to binge-watch, search no further than the Charles Gross YouTube channel. Charles Gross is a wealthy, 20 year-old New Yorker who uploads daily videos to YouTube on topics ranging from his Grindr hookups to his vast collection of perfumes and Birkins. What separates Charles from the typical YouTuber is his candid personality and honesty on even the most personal of topics (see: one night stands, family income, secrets of the NYC prep school scene, etc.). All of his uploads offer an entertaining look into the life of one of Manhattan’s “elite,” while still coming from a relatable, personable source. Another positive aspect of his videos are their length. While some uploads are only five minutes, a majority of Charles’ content is 25+ minutes long, making his work the ideal background noise for cooking, getting ready in the morning, or falling asleep at night. You should be warned, however, that while his “girl talk” informality is vastly addicting, it may not be for you if you’re easily offended by profanity or blunt sarcasm (or believe that Michael Kors is a good decision--ever). Even still, I think you should definitely give Charles a try if you’re looking for an escape from the stresses of “normal person” life!

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
