For those lucky seniors, graduation is right around the corner. It is an exciting, yet bittersweet time. Looking back with nostalgia you wonder how four years, or five for those that really paced themselves, went by so quickly. Your mind is flooded with thoughts of the uncertainty of the road ahead while at times you find yourself excited to embark on life's newest journey. You made your home for four years, settled in comfortably and enjoyed the tailgates, painful classes with friends, frat parties and the list goes on.

To my sorority grand big, I know this is no easy time in your life. Yes, you have exciting plans ahead, but you leave behind the home you made for four happy years. To those in sororities, senior send off is a happy yet tender time, as the seniors in your sorority will only be with you for not much longer. It is important to make them feel loved and that they will always have a place “at home."

As I carefully selected my grand big's gift the other night, I thoroughly took my time selecting what the world's newest working girl would want. I chose a nice Lilly Pulitzer cooler and matching wine glasses, as one can never have too many and a Lilly cooler will always come in handy. Truth be told, I could have spent hours buying for my grand big, it is a fun time and she along with countless other sorority seniors deserve amazing gifts as they have set examples for us to live up to. They took the time to shower you with presents when you were an excited pledge member and were anticipating finding out who are sorority family was. It is your turn to shower them! With that in mind, happy shopping for those of you buying for your grand big, big, other seniors, or even yourself if you are said senior.

Ten great gifts any graduating sorority senior would love to have:

1. You can never go wrong with a collage of pictures. She will treasure all the memories on it. She will hang it proudly in her new apartment or office.

Buy the frame above on Amazon.

2. Lilly Pulitzer products are always a hit!! Nothing says “thanks for the fun times we shared!" like giving a Lilly Pulitzer cooler or some wine glasses!

Buy Lilly Pulitzer champagne flutes on Amazon.

3. Anything personalized is great! Monogrammed acrylic trays, tumblers, whiskey glasses, ice buckets, etc. are great. They will get plenty of use!!

Buy a monogramed ice bucket on Amazon.

4. Personalization is great, if you want to veer away from acrylic, going the engraved route with a beautiful sterling silver frame will be useful when decorating an office or new “grown up" apartment. (If you are looking to spend a little extra, L'Objet frames are stunning!! A little expensive, but very beautiful frames that will last a long time. I received one as a debutante gift and it is safe to say any girl would love to get one!)

Buy a L'Objet frame on Amazon.

5. A monogrammed or any type of nice photo album is wonderful since there will be a look of photos to document and they will all need a place of storage and a beautiful book to be shown off in will really come in handy!

Buy one on Amazon.

6. Personalized stationery is great gift, since your big will be sending lots of thank you notes for graduation gifts!

Buy it on Amazon.

7. A monogrammed necklace, or nice watch will make your big ready for the “real world" these stylish, yet mature gifts would make any sorority gal happy!

Buy it on Amazon.

8. A decent and nice sized bag to carry things in such as a Longchamp. Longchamp's are great as they are nice bags with plenty of colors to choose from. Said senior already has one or two? No problem, she could always use another in a bright vibrant color!

Buy one on Amazon.

9. Gift cards to your big's favorite store will be a lifesaver when she's on a budget!

Buy an Amazon gift card.

10. Anything tech is a good route as well, a nice phone case or iPad cover will get used by someone!

Buy a phone case on Amazon.

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.

"What's more important? What we become or how we become it?"

Brooke Davis

"She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and I'm not sure she even knows it." - Lucas Scott, An Unkindness of Ravens

Brooke Davis of the hit show One Tree Hill was the it girl - she had it all, or so we thought. She started out as a stuck-up, shallow, spoiled, head cheerleader who didn't have her life together. She slept around a lot and loved to party - sounds like your typical high school teenager right? Wrong. B. Davis had so much more to offer. Caring, loyal, and outspoken, she has taught us some valuable lessons throughout the 9 seasons that OTH was on the air:
