It's finally spring, which means gorgeous weather before miserable summer heat sets in. It also means it's almost time to move home for the summer. If you're a sorority girl at the University of Alabama, you've probably accumulated at least one new piece of clothing for every memory you've made.

There's no way all of that is going to fit in your car — and no one has money to pay for a storage unit when you can use that money for new game day outfits.

Here are some thoughts Alabama sorority girls have when trying to clean out their closets:

1. OK time to clean out my closet.

2. I cannot fit all of these in my car with the rest of my stuff.

3. The more clothes I get rid of, the more clothes I can buy.

4. Oh, who am I kidding? I'm gonna buy more clothes no matter what.

5. But I'll give it a shot

6. How many T-shirts do I have?

7. Don't open that door...

8. Well, how many T-shirts do I need?

9. All of them.

10. What're the odds I wear any of these once I'm an adult?

11. I will always wear my Old Row shirts with pride.

12. I can make a T-shirt quilt when I graduate with the rest of them.

13. OK, so where should I put them in the meantime?

14. ...

15. Moving on.

16. Time for the costume box.

17. What're the odds I will wear a blue tutu again?

18. Might as well keep it.

19. Might as well keep the galaxy print ensemble too.

20. Just in case.

21. What about this leopard print pencil skirt?

22. Jungle themed swaps never go out of style.

23. Do I even go to swaps any more?

24. ...

25. Moving on to shoes

26. Who am I kidding I'm keeping all of them.

27. Time for dresses

28. Are all of my dresses school colors?

29. I definitely haven't worn this since freshman year.

30. Can't get rid of it, too many ~mems~

31. Are there even enough football games in a season to wear all of them?

32. The solution is obviously to keep all of them and go to more away games.

33. My daughter will want my game day outfits when she comes here.

34. I haven't had a boyfriend in forever, but still. Keepin' em.

35. OK, Nike shorts.

36. I wonder how much money I've spent on the exact pair of shorts in every color combo imaginable.

37. But I wear them all...

38. If I get rid of them then I have to do laundry more often

39. Nope, no thanks.

40. Guess I'm just keeping everything.

41. It was a good try.

42. Maybe next year.

43. Wait, what's that behind the cowboy boots I wear once a year?

44. It's a Four Loko!

45. Yo, Becky, we're going to Rounders!

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.

cousins
Bailey Totten

I've known you your entire life. More than likely I held you in the first three days of it and at least one of us cried. Cousins are truly one of the best things in the world and while sometimes I complain about how many people crowd Grandma's living room on Christmas Eve, I wouldn't trade you all anything.

You are my best friends, the only people who can understand what it's like on Thanksgiving, and you are the spunkiest people I have ever met. But you as so so young, most of you are just now starting your adventures in the public education system. I mean, I'm so very young too. I'm not married, I don't have children, heck, I just started my adult life, but I do want to give you what little advice I have. My dears, these are the things I want you to know.
