If you're lucky enough to live in a town with a Sonic, you're lucky enough. Just kidding, but really, Sonic drinks are a great addition to any afternoon, especially a hot one in the summer. Their ice is perfect, and their happy hour prices are worth the drive. If you find yourself frequenting Sonic Happy Hour this summer and want to change your order up, try a few of these drinks on this list.

1. Classic Cherry Limeade

I know I said to change it up, and classic doesn't really insinuate change. But, I have several friends who had never been to Sonic before living in Oklahoma, and this is their favorite.

2. Frozen Lemonade with Cherry

This one tastes just like the cherry frozen lemonade they sell at baseball games. It's sour, refreshing, and the perfect pick for a hot summer day!

3. Diet Coke with Vanilla

This is one of my personal favorites. I don't like regular Coke at all, but I could drink this everyday.

4. Peach Tea

Flavored teas are perfect for people who want their tea to taste different without all the sugar. Peach is my personal favorite, but I know several people who swear by the mango.

5. Cherry Vanilla Sprite

I don't know why this works, but it does. Go ahead, remix your Sprite.

6. Grape Lemonade

This is another one that just works for reasons unknown. If you like grape Sweet Tarts, this drink is for you.

7. Orange Cream Slush

Cream slushies are the best of both frozen desert worlds. You get a slush plus ice cream. This one tastes like a dreamsicle.

This blue coconut concoction is delicious. Everyone should try it at least once.

9. Water with Lemon

I know this will be a wildly unpopular opinion, but if you only have thirty cents in your car, this is the way to go.

10. Sour Blue Raspberry Slushy with Nerds

This is one of my best friend's favorite drinks. She gets it almost every time we hit up happy hour.
