There's a song for everything. Unfortunately, that means there's so much music out there that it's virtually impossible to listen to every song. There are so many songs to listen to and not enough time. This means you could potentially never hear the song that could become your all time favorite. That very idea makes me cringe, so I am going to help. Here's a list of 20 songs you need in your life.

1. Bon Jovi "You Give Love A Bad Name"

It's pretty hard to listen to Bon Jovi and not totally jam. Note: I wouldn't listen to while walking to class, you might embarrass yourself by breaking out into song.

2. Parson James "Temple"

This song is mellow and Parson James' vocals are pretty great.

3. Green Day "21 Guns"

Everyone needs Green Day in their lives. This single is always a good go to.

4. Artic Monkeys "R U Mine?"

Great song, great album. I recommend listening to the entire album, but this song is a must. Plus it's a great car ride song!

5. Evanescence "Bring Me To Life"

Old, but gold. If you feel like screaming at the world this song will do that for you.

6. The Summer Set "Lightning In A Bottle"

This one definitely gets you excited for summer and going places with your friends. Always a mood booster.

7. Aerosmith "Dream On"

If you haven't heard this song, stop reading and go listen right now.

8. Kodaline "Love Will Set You Free"

Great band and this song is only a taste of their talent.

9. American Authors "What We Live For"

This song is an instant mood booster and makes you enjoy the small things in life.

10. Troye Sivan "SUBURBIA"

Great song if you are feeling homesick.

11. Adele "One and Only"

Adele is an amazing artist. This song is a cry for someone to understand how down you are for them.

12. Ben Rector "Brand New"

Another great cheer-up song. Gets you excited and always ends the song with a smile on your face.

13. All Time Low "Weightless"

Grand song. Sometimes you just need a break and this band agrees.

14. Like Pacific "Distant"

Wanna scream? Angry at the world? Angry in general? This song is a great expression of all of that.

15. Sean Grandillo "New"

Perfect song for anyone who has had a bad day. It really puts things into perspective.

16. Jaymes Young "Moondust (Stripped)"

Grand song and the lyrics speak to those who have love for someone that they can't express.

17. Imagine Dragons "Dream"

Imagine Dragons never fails to impress. This song inspires thought and really makes you appreciate life.

18. Pentatonix Cover "Hallelujah"

Stellar song and Pentatonix adds much needed vocals to make the lyrics hit deep.

19. HomeTown "Where I Belong-Acoustic"

Perfect for the people who have found their home in another person.

20. James Bay Cover "If I Ain't Got You-Live From Spotify"

A great song in the first place, but James Bay's voice just makes it ten times better!

Well, there you have it. 20 songs you didn't even know you needed in your life, but you did. Now you have them...don't hesitate to listen.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
