We all ave those moments where we want to get up and dance and sing along to a song. But if your the person who never updates their playlist, making you get bored of the same songs over and over again. Don't worry, here's a list of some songs (old and new) that will definitely get you up and singing. (These are in no particular order)

Justin Bieber- Cold Water

Even if you're not a fan of Justin Bieber, you can't help but sing along with the catchy beat.

The Chainsmokers (ft. Halsey)- Closer

If you can forget that these are the same people that made the song "#Selfie" than you'll enjoy it a little more.

Selena Gomez- Same Old Love

When dancing, make sure to channel your inner Selena.

Daya- Hide Away

This is more of a singing and swaying kind of song, but there's no limitations.

Ariana Grande (ft. Nicki Minaj)- Side To Side

Honestly, her whole "Dangerous Woman" album is pretty good, so you should check that out too.

Rihanna- Work

If you haven't heard this song yet, you need to hear it ASAP!

Beyonce- Sorry

I mean...it's Queen B....did you expect anything less from her?

Usher (ft. Young Thug)- No Limit

Although this is kind of on the slow side, it's a pretty good song.

Fifth Harmony (ft. Ty Dolla $ign)- Work From Home

It's upbeat and catchy, what else could you ask for?

The Chainsmokers (ft. Daya)- Don't Let Me Down

Even though they both are already on the list, their collaboration on this song cannot be passed over.

Ariana Grande- Dangerous Woman

Again, we already had Ariana. But "Dangerous Woman" is so empowering that even I can't stop singing.

Bea Miller- Fire N Gold

Although this isn't as new as the other's, this is still a great song that will get stuck in your head until you buy it.

DJ Snake (ft. Justin Bieber)- Let Me Love You

Again, even if you're not a big fan of Justin, this song is too catchy for you not to sing to.

Usher (ft. Lil Jon & Ludacris)- Yeah!

Throwback to this beautiful song. Even if you only know certain parts of the song, you know it's a good one.

Adele- Rolling In The Deep

Another older one, but how can you not sing alone with Adele when her music speaks to you on a personal level.

Adele- Hello

Yes I did Adele again. And if you are questioning why, look at the song title. If you still are questioning, you should listen to it already!

Era Istrefi- Bonbon

Here's a tip, if you want to understand the lyrics a little better get the English version instead of the original).

Lady Gaga- Perfect Illusion

This song came out within the past week, but if you haven't heard it and got it on your phone, you need to!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours.
