This list would not be complete without Whiskey Lullaby. A classic country song soaked in the tragedy of two lovers broken by the past.

I listened to this song almost every day in third grade. A daily cry I guess was in order for this masterpiece about a dad who leaves his family

Although Rascal Flatts has several heartbreaking hits, Skin tells a story of a girl with cancer and her struggles to live a normal life.
