As 2016 comes to an end, it's time to think back on all the good times we had this year. Ok, maybe not a lot comes to mind when I say that. So I decided to make a list of songs that got us through this tough year instead. I took to Facebook to see what my friends would say and this is what they came up with. The quotes after the videos are the reasons my friends have gave.

1. Scars to Your Beautiful, by Alessia Cara

The explanation: "Because when everything seems lost? When depression takes to me, I remember that I'm okay. I don't have to look like a model. I can be who I am and those who accept me do."

2. Waving Through A Window, sung by Ben Platt, from the musical Dear Evan Hansen by Pasek and Paul

The explanation: "it's essentially the story of my life and it's such a good, uplifting, and powerful jam. If you're into musical theatre, 100% suggest you give it a listen!"

3. Sit Still and Look Pretty, by Daya

The explanation: "Because it's a feminist jam." Short and sweet explanation.

4. Don't Threaten Me With a Good Time, by Panic! At the Disco

The explanation: My friend didn't give a reason for this, but I really love this song. It's one that you can dance to.

5. The Schuyler Sisters, from the musical Hamilton, by Lin-Manuel Miranda

The explanation: This song is really inspirational and is fun to listen to. I highly recommend this musical in general because well it's amazing.

6. Rawnald Gregory Erickson the Second, by STRFKR

The explanation: "Idk why but whenever i hear the song i feel uplifted. I think its the beat but i call it my happy song and its prob my fav i heard this year"

7. We Are Family, by Sister Sledge

The explanation: "because of our family reunion last summer"

8. Cover Me, by Bruce Springsteen

The explanation: "Because of the concert I went to this fall was the highlight of the year."

9. Side to Side, by Ariana Granda ft. Nicki Minaj

The explanation: "fun to sing and pumps me up."

10. Can't Stop the Feeling, by Justin Timberlake

The explanation: This is the best dance song of 2016 in my opinion. I had to blast it on the radio whenever it came on while I was driving.

11. Cake By the Ocean, by DNCE

The explanation: This is one of the songs that constantly kept getting stuck in my head but I didn't mind it because I loved the song.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
