If you're like me, summer is your most anticipated and favorite time of year (aside from the holidays) and its filled to the brim with endless laughs and memories and vacation and friends. Even work can be a good time in the summer months. My friends and I always pick a song of summer, a song we hear on country radio that makes us want to jam and also captures the feeling of being down the shore. Our summer soundtrack consists of country music, and isn't the beauty and power of music that one song can make you remember and take you back immediately to a certain place, a specific time, and make you miss everything it brings up.
I'm not happy summer is coming to a close, even a little bit-- it seems to go by faster every year, and every time I get in my car and put my music on shuffle and hear one of these songs, I get a little teary eyed, a lot sentimental, and then I start to blast it. Here are my songs of summer that no matter where or when I am when I hear them, never fail to take me back to the sun, surf, and shenanigans of summer in Sea Isle (and wherever your Sea Isle is, I've hope you've had a great a summer as mine)!
1) American Kids, Kenny Chesney
2) Saltwater Gospel, Eli Young Band
3) Real Life, Jake Owen
4) Snapback, Old Dominion
5) Leave the Night On, Sam Hunt
6) Everybody Dies Young, Jake Owen
7) John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16, Keith Urban

9) Talladega, Eric Church
10) All Summer Long, Kid Rock

I recommend adding them to your playlist if you're a country fan. And if not, give them a listen -- its nice to remember summer in the dead of winter!
