Great new music is the key to setting the tone for a fun and memorable summer. Compiled below are some not-as-popular songs you will be sure to enjoy this season no matter how you plan on spending it!
1. Be Like You (feat. Broods) -- Whethan
Who doesn't love a little electronic music in the summertime? This track is full of all the bass and confident vibes you'll need.
2. All My Friends (feat. Tinashe & Chance The Rapper) -- Snakehips
This song has been the most played in my car for about a month now. Something about Tinashe's voice and just the feeling it gives off makes this perfect for driving with your windows down.
3. Alone (feat. Big Sean & Stefflon Don) -- Halsey
I have been a big Halsey fan for several years now and am super excited with the direction she is taking her brand in. This song is a nice break from the electronic music in my summer 2018 playlist but still completely fitting with its "feel-good" sound.
4. Problems (feat. Lido) -- Petit Biscuit
If someone were to ask me if I listed to Petit Biscuit this time last year I'd probably look at them like they were crazy, but I am so glad to have stumbled upon his music. If you can look past the unconventional name, his work is really great! (This music video is so cute too)
5. Good Nights (feat. Mascolo) -- Whethan
I know that Whethan is on here twice, but I promise it was unavoidable. He is a new addition to my collection of music and I am so glad of it. If he isn't featured on your playlist yet this season, what are you waiting for?
6. Broken Clocks -- SZA
SZA has just the right amount of realness and sassiness in all of her music. We need her art in our lives all throughout the year. That is all.
7. Kanye (feat. Siren) -- The Chainsmokers
This song is also one that I keep on repeat and I'm sure you will too. It's got a great sound to it and is good if you just need some easy-listening.
8. I Don't Know -- Jack & Jack
Remember Jack Gilinsky and Jack Johnson from Vine? They still make music today if you were unaware like I was until about a month ago. And man, did they grow up and produce some amazing tracks.
