Guess what? Guess what? Guess what? Holy Week is this week and what better way to honor it than to listen to these songs on your iPod or tablet? I have here ten hits whether they won a Grammy Award, rather they won a Dove Award for the Song of the Year, rather they topped one of Billboard’s charts, and rather they were featured in a show on TV, they will get you in the mood for Holy Week.

This is a worthy list and I guarantee that you, my fellow Christian or you the interested that they will inspire you as we all go about celebrating Christ’s crucifixion and Christ’s resurrection (victory) on the 1 ^stSunday of April. 1. "I Can Only Imagine" (2001) by MercyMe

Won the Dove Award for Song of the Year in 2002. Ranks as the bestselling Christian single of all time.

Won 2 Grammy Awards one of them for Best Country Song in 2007.

3. "Heaven" (2004) by Los Lonely Boys

Won Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance By a Duo Group in 2005.

Meaningful Lyrics: Save me from this prison/ Lord, help me get away/ Cause only you can save me now from this misery/ I've been lost in my own place, and I'm gettin' weary/ How far is heaven?

4. "If I Ain't Got You" (2004) by Alicia Keys

Won Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance in 2005.

6. "How Can It Be" (2015) by Lauren Daigle

Won the Dove Award for Song of the Year in 2015.

7. "How To Save a Life" (2006) by The Fray

Topped the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart nonconsecutively in 2007.

8. "Stronger" (2011) by Mandisa

Topped the Billboard Christian Songs chart for the week of June 18, 2011.

Meaningful lyrics: Hold on just a little bit longer/ He knows that this is gonna make you stronger, stronger/ the pain ain't gonna last forever/ and things can only get better/ Believe me/ this is gonna make you stronger.

9. "Calling All Angels" (2016) by JenCarlos

This was originally sung by Train.

Canela sang this song for the American music television special that Fox network broadcasted called The Passion, based on the events leading up to Easter Sunday in 2016. He sang it while portraying a suffering Jesus Christ in the garden of Gethsemane.

Meaningful Lyrics: I need a sign to let me know you're here/ Cause my TV set just keeps it all from being clear/ I want a reason for the way things have to be/ I need a hand to help build up some kind of hope inside of me/ And I'm calling all angels.

10. "I Need You" (2000) by LeAnn Rimes

“I Need You” was released as a single from the 2000 album: Jesus: Music From and Inspired by the Epic Mini-Series.
