Keep Me Breathing by Ashes Remain

Song Translations with JtheDisaster #12

Hey guys! This week I will be covering Keep Me Breathing by Ashes Remain. This is an amazing song and I love every bit of it. When I had to do a paper about which song could match me the most, this song made it a long way out of seven hundred songs. This song is great and I hope that you enjoy.

The song starts off with, “We all breathe and we all bleed, We get lost in between, Searching for what we all need, It's hard to see underneath the lies, Underneath the lies”. This song starts off with a bang almost. We are all the same. We are all mortals and we are dealing with the same things as our lives progress. We are shrouded by the same cover of lies. We are all blinded by the same thing. The next part goes, “My mind's a loaded gun, No one can hear me screaming, Another night that comes undone, You're the one that keeps me breathing, Keep me breathing, Won't You keep me breathing”. Our minds can easily ruin us with one simple thought. If you think good things, then good things will happen. But if you think bad things then bad things will happen. And if we are not careful, we could lock ourselves within our heads and no one will be able to hear us. But when everything goes downhill, God, our Creator, will be there to heal us and put us back together. He, in a sense, keeps us all breathing. “We get up, We get knocked down, We get lost behind the crowd, Looking for a new way out, It's hard to stand but we won't bow tonight, We won't bow tonight”. The ending of this song is great. No matter what, we will keep on fighting. Because if we can still breathe, we can still fight. And God keeps us breathing. Even though our legs are failing and our feet weak and full pain, we will stand strong because we must.

Thank you so much for reading. Have a wonderful day. And always remember – Stay strong.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

The Unwritten Rules Of "Talking"

What is "talking?" How does one "talk?"

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
