Music All Millennials Need To Listen To This Spring

This month I have a new set of music I have been listening to.

I have a new set of music I am currently listening to. In January I wrote an article about my song favorites and last month I wrote another article of my February playlist. This month I have a new set of music I have been listening to. This list is a tad shorter and consists of a few songs that are a tad older(like a year or two older). This is my new playlist that I highly recommend.

1. Redbone- Childish Gambino

Childish Gambino finally came out with new music! He is known for many many things but music is one of his biggest accomplishments. He has tried so many genres of music, but this is his newest and I am obsessed. This is his latest hits and I highly recommend checking out the rest of this album.

2. DNA- Lia Marie Johnson

Lia Marie Johnson is best known for her youtube career. Over the years of being on youtube, she would post videos of her singing covers and she has an amazing voice. This past couple of months she has finally come out with her own album. This is her first hit of the album and it's very personal and deep. Listening to this song has taught me so much more about her than I have ever knew.

3. They Don't Know- Ariana Grande

I have become obsessed with Trolls this past couple of weeks and Ariana Grande has her own song in the album. I don't think there has ever been a song she has come out with that wasn't catchy. I can't help but want to dance whenever I hear this song playing.

4. Party- Chris Brown ft. Gucci Mane & Usher

Chris Brown just came out with a new single featuring Gucci Mane and Usher. I will never not love Chris Brown and Usher writing music together. Ever since he was 16 I have always been a fan of Chris Brown's music. I may not be the most obsessed(well...) with this song, but I've already spent a full day listening to it on repeat and I can only imagine if I start listening to it more. I have several song playlists on my laptop and it's already in 2 out of 6.

5. Don't- Bryson Tiller

Bryson Tiller is an artist I am not the most familiar with but ever since I first heard of this song, I am obsessed. It's a chill song and it doesn't matter what kind of mood you are in, this song is something you can listen to 24/7.

6. Perm- Bruno Mars

I will never not recommend a Bruno Mars song. There will never be a day that I am not listening to Bruno Mars. This is my latest favorite song of his album. Bruno Mars will forever be one of my favorite artists. His music is

7. Helplessly- Tatiana Manaois

I know very little about Tatiana Manaois, but what I do know is that I will forever love this song. This song is something I like to listen to before bed or even when I wake up. It's such a soothing song with so much meaning. I am not sure if she has other music, but this song definitely wants me to find out!

8. The Sound- The 1975

I LOVE THE 1975. Even though I have been listening to this song for over a year, I felt like I should talk about it in case someone hasn't heard of it. The 1975 has such a unique style and it's very different compared to the music i generally listen to. They may actually be the only English rock band I listen to(probably because they are the only one I know), but who could resist? They have a song for every mood you are in. Each song sounds nothing like the others.

9. Quiet- Troye Sivan

I still remember the first time I heard this song and I formed all of my thoughts and theories over who or what this song is about, due to the fact that I have followed him for a few years now. No matter what it turns out to actually be, I will always relate to his music. I don't relate to Troye Sivan in any way shape or form but his songs mean so much to me. I don't think he'll ever come out with a music video for this song, but I don't think it even needs one. He put so much into this song and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

10. BB Talk- Miley Cyrus

Oh Miley. I will forever be a fan. From your Hannah Montana phase to your Happie Hippie phase. Every type of music you have written has been a hit. I don't care what anyone says, her music will always be great, even if it's not your taste in music. It took me awhile to get use to her change in music, but I love it. I couldn't hate this song even if I tried. Before you judge it, because I know you will, just give it a shot! She might surprise you!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
