The Upcoming

If you're one of the rare people who haven't listened to Ed Sheeran's new album "Divide", I suggest you drop whatever you're doing and listen to it now. The album is one of his best, in my opinion, and has a song to fit a variety of moods.

Here is a list of the songs from the album that each fit a perfect mood:

1. "Eraser"

This is a great song for anyone who seems to be questioning where they are in life. Whether you're questioning the kind of person you are, your past, your future, or your career, this song is very relatable.

2. "Castle On The Hill"

This is a really feel good song for anyone feeling a little nostalgic. The song is somewhat of a life reflection and refers back a lot to the idea of travelling home.

3. "Dive"

This song is my personal favorite on the album. This song is perfect for anyone who feels like they're in any sort of a meaningless relationship or is receiving mixed signals. In this song Ed Sheeran questions if he did something wrong and claims that he would do anything to be with this person. "Don't call me baby unless you mean it" is a very easily relatable lyric.

4. "Shape of You"

Another feel good song of the album that takes a different tone that "Dive". This song is relates to anyone whose just looking for a fun night. The song talks about meeting someone at the club and having a good time and spending the night with them.

5. "Perfect"

This song is really relatable to anyone who is deeply in love. The song talks about how this couple met and the life they plan to have together. It's an overall really sweet song and anybody in love will definitely smile listening to it.

6. "Galway Girl"

A very upbeat song that anyone with a crush can relate to. Ed Sheeran talks about the girl in the song in a really fun way.The song also makes you want to dance which is a plus.

7. "Happier"

This song is perfect for anyone who is trying to get over a break up. It talks about wanting the other person to be happy while struggling to be happy without them.

8. "New Man"

This one is great for anyone who can't seem to break ties with an ex. You kinda hate them (and you DEFINITELY their new S.O) but they're still calling you.

9. "Hearts Don't Break Around Here"

A song for anyone who has someone they are comfortable with. The title says it all, the song refers to not being afraid of getting your heart broken because you know that person would never do that to you. This song could be relatable for friends and family as well not just S.O's.

10. "What Do I Know"

An awesome feel good song for anybody. It's perfect for anyone who needs a reminder that sometimes being happy is more simple thank we think

11. "How Would You Feel (Paeaen)"

A song about falling in love, this is a great one for anyone who is afraid to tell someone how they feel. We all encounter this feeling throughout our lives and this song does an awesome job on falling in love but being worried to express it.

12. "Supermarket Flowers"

This is a really touching song about loss. Anyone who has lost a loved one can easily relate to the meaningful lyrics that can really hit home.

13. "Barcelona"

For those of us who like to pretend we are escaping somewhere else, this song is perfect. The song talks about having an awesome time out and pretending that you're in another world/place.

14. "Biba Be Ye Ye"

This awesome song puts a funny twist on making mistakes. This is for anyone who laughs at their stupid mistakes and is able to make up for them. The song really reminds you not to be too hard on yourself.

15. "Nancy Mulligan"

Anyone who wants to be with/ is with someone who they technically shouldn't be can relate to this song. No matter the circumstance, the heart wants what the heart wants and this song does an awesome job at touching on that.

16. "Save Myself"

This is the last song on the album and I feel that everyone can really relate to the message from this song. The song is about feeling unappreciated by those who you have given up so much for. It also talks about how sometimes you need to put yourself before others and do what's best for you. I think this song has an overall really inspiring message for everyone.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
