Sometimes we get very lucky. There are those days where everything is just going your way. There will also be days when things are not going your way. But you have to be sure to enjoy the little luck you encounter here and there. Here are some humorous pictures of people who had a very lucky day.

1. What are the odds?

This guy right here may have wanted a new car because that old Sedan is a little dated, however today will not be the day he buys a new car. Because today this man was lucky enough to have a tree fall around his car. AROUND HIS CAR.

2. Heart Attack Material.

I would have really like to have seen the look on this man/woman's face when they dropped their keys and thought they were about to be gone forever only to have the keys get magically caught in the grate. It must have a been a priceless look.

3. Why?

Okay first off, how did this picture get taken; do you have a second phone for moments like these? And second off, in what way were you using that toilet that you could have dropped your phone into in the first place!?! This person needs to rethink some of their actions after having their smart phone spared. I would probably still wash it though.

4. YUM YUM

We all know that generally the red flavor in any mix of candy are generally the best. So this person got a very good bang for their buck here.

5. Almost had a bad day.

I don't know if you, the person reading this, have ever stepped on a nail but let me tell you, it hurts. You're not expecting it and then you just a have an incredibly sharp pain in your foot. It will definetaly ruin your day.

Anyways, jokes aside, we all have days where luck just seems to be on our side. The important thing is to just enjoy yourself when those things happen. Life will have its obstacles and sometime it will get the best of you. But you can't let it bring you down to much. Life will be like a roller coaster, it will have its ups and downs, you just have to enjoy the little things; even if those little things is having just a tad bit of good luck.

Ten Truths Every Honors Student Knows
Photo by Poodar Chu on Unsplash

One of the main reasons I came to Salem State was I was offered a spot in the honors program. While it offered many benefits, scholarships and priority registration to name a few, what drew me in was the strong sense of community and close knit friendships many found. I am glad to say that that I did find these things, and so much more. I found a home made up of some of the most brilliant and most unique people I have ever met. Being in an honors program creates a college experience unlike any other and creates some universal truths that really only an honors student can fully understand.
