This week, I came across two videos of different people burning a leaf of cabbage on direct heat ranting about artificial food being sold to us. STOP THAT! IT IS VERY ANNOYING!

How about doing some research, to find out a bit more about the vegetable/fruit that you have bought before running to the nearest social media outlet to create a scare.

To quickly enlighten you, Cabbages contain a large amount of water (approximately 90-95%) so if placed on direct heat, IT WILL NOT BURN, until all the water has dried, it is the same concept of trying to burn wet leaves, they wont burn until all the water has dried. Other vegetables that have high water content for example peppers, carrots is because they also contain high amounts of glucose.

I urge you to stop creating unnecessary fear in your surrounding, among your peers because it is literally allowing ignorance to spread like a plague! Do some research and if you are unsure about it, stay quiet.

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.
