I don't know about you but my family usually goes around and says one thing that they are thankful for before eating Thanksgiving dinner. I love doing this because it gives me some time to reflect on the really great things that have happened in the last year. Sometimes, though, it can be a little difficult thinking of stuff that you are thankful for, even when life has given you so many amazing aspects to say. These are just a few of the many things that I am privileged to have in my life.

1. Family

I know that this seems incredibly basic but it's true. My family is crazy and we argue over everything from politics to food but I don't know what I'd do without them.

2. Friends

I know, another basic one but friends are the family you choose and mine are some of the best humans in the entire world.

3. Dogs

My pup is always there next to me when I'm sad or happy. This is mostly because he's really lazy and doesn't move far from my bed but dogs are some of the most loyal friends you could have.

4. Food

In the words of Shirley Caesar "I got beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes, lamb, ram hogs, dogs, beans greens, potatoes, tomatoes, chicken, turkey, rabbit, you name it." Holidays are the best time to be thankful for food.

5. Music

There is a kind of music for everyone, it's so diverse and one of the most healing things i know of. It's helped me through most of the bad times throughout my years.

6. Greek Life

If you're in a sorority or a fraternity then you know that your brothers or sisters are some of the closest and best friends that you will ever have. They will be there for every up and down for the rest of your life and it's something truly beautiful.

7. School

I know that most days I find it incredibly difficult to get out of bed and go to class but school is a blessing. There are a lot of people around the world who would give anything to be able to go to school and we are so lucky to have the chance to be able to go.

8. Freedom

I use my right to the freedom of speech a little more often than I think most of my friends and family would like but it's something that I take for granted most times. We have the ability to freely speak about our feelings about the president and the government and sure Donald Trump can tweet a couple angry things but there is honestly nothing that he can do about it. We can freely express ourselves which is something a lot of people can't do.

This is just a short list of things that I can reflect on and think about how lucky I really am. Make sure to tell your loved ones how much you appreciate them this holiday season.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
