Its pretty much that time of year where everyone is driving around with their windows down cranking up the radio or jamming to their favorite playlist on their phone. The sun is out and there is no better feeling in the world than driving down the highway with friends singing loudly to great tunes. That’s why I came up with this playlist to give readers some new song ideas for the car!

"Work From Home" by Fifth Harmony.

This song is a new upbeat hit that can get anyone dancing. Just be careful you don’t whip it too hard when you’re in the driver seat!

"21" by Hunter Hayes.

For someone who never really loved country, I realized I have a soft spot for Hunter Hayes. This song is the perfect song to learn the words to and sing along to when going out!

"Dangerous Woman" by Ariana Grande.

Yet another beautiful song by Ariana Grande, this song is perfect for a girl’s night out!

"Surfboard" by Cody Simpson.

This song is definitely a jam. Going to the beach? You’ve found your new ocean favorite.

" Talking About" by Conor Maynard.

Driving somewhere and not in the best mood? This song will be sure to cheer you up.

"I Hate U, I Love U" by Gnash ft. Olivia O’Brien.

If you’re in the mood to just drive around alone, this is the perfect song for you. Warning: tears may appear if you carefully listen to the lyrics, drive with caution.

"Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles.

I know, a song from the Beatles is quite a surprising transition from the previous songs listed but it’s a classic. This song is great to listen to, no matter who you’re with in the car.

"Intoxicated" by Martin Solveig & GTA.

This song is the perfect song to get up pumped up in the car if you’re on the way to a party or night out!

"Leave The Night On" by Sam Hunt.

Another country hit! Roll those windows down, open that sun roof and blast this song all the way up!

"Open Wide" by Calvin Harris and Big Sean.

This collaboration is upbeat, fun and definitely a great one to have playing any time of day.

"Something Beautiful" by Tory Kelly.

This inspiring song is perfect to listen to if you’re going for a ride to clear your mind.`

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
