I first heard of Game of Thrones because of the meme, you know what meme I'm talking about.

So before moving into college, I saw that I could watch Game of Thrones on Amazon and immediately told myself I was watching it move-in weekend. I did and was immediately got hooked. My roommates and I basically finished the first season in a day and we are into the third season now that school has started. So I have decided to tell you of my first reactions to watching Game of Thrones.

1. Wait, this seems like a horror movie.

2. Oh, wonderful. Nothing like murder to start off a show.

3. I want stones like that when I die even though it's creepy a'f.

4. Winterfell sounds badass af tbh.

5. THE MEME HAS ARRIVED!

6. OH HELLO WHO ARE YOU BEAUTIFUL?

Honestly, I've been in love with Jon Snow since I saw him. Jon Snow=Bae

7. Arya just became my child.

8. Real conversation between my roommate and I watching Sansa on screen:

"Wait her name's Salsa??"-My roommate.

"No it's Sansa," I replied.

"I'm calling her Salsa and I think she needs a different bag of chips." (Reffering to Joffery).

9. Okay, Joffery looks like a douchebag and I hate him already.

10. Honestly I have never been more satisfied then when I saw Joffery being slapped by Tyrion.

11. DOGGOS

I know this isn't from the first episode but I don't care. I love Ghost.

12. Okay, Viserys is creepy af.

Like who touches their sister's boob like that?

13. IS THAT AQUAMAN?

14. Whelp, here comes the binge.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
