Did you hear? Of course you probably did, we put a United states embassy in Jerusalem and... surprise, surprise something goes wrong. So before we just blame the people of Jerusalem for their rebellion we have to first really look how their lives are and why they think the way they do. First lets recognize hat this country lives a lot more impoverished than ours.
These people struggle to live their life day to day to support their families and don't have the luxury of time to really think. These are people that can't think freely because of the control that is imposed on them in their daily lives. They never were taught how to peacefully protest with their government, other governments, and how to share their viewpoints in non-violent ways.
They don't really see the large picture of life because they don't have the luxury we have to think freely. It's a sense of ignorance, a lack of knowledge, but most importantly a lack of love. Not love that they needed to show us but the lack of love we have shown them. Just because someone might act erroneously doesn't mean we should look at them like animals. Ever hear the saying kill them with kindness?
Let's try that. Instead try to give these people a sense of empathy so we can all make the world just a little better of place. We all can learn from the same common ground, love and understanding. So instead of trying to just blame another group lets look at the larger picture.
We see that there's a lot of hate going on in the middle east and that they are solving things with violence and destruction. These two forces are some of man's most strongest forces. But right now it's a lot like the kids are playing with guns and there needs to be a bit of an intervention. Remember when you were a kid and your dad yelled at you and it just made you more angry and rebellious therefore teaching you nothing?
Well guess what, that's what is happening here. Let's try being a bit like our moms and instead of inserting ourselves lets try to teach them and show them the errors in their ways, lets be more compassionate and nourishing for once. Instead of inserting ourselves where we really shouldn't be and try to enforce the things with military force, let's try to boost the economy there or maybe structure a better one in that instance.
Let's try to teach these kids to read and write more rather than having to worry about surviving the tension between them , their people , the governments and the terrorist. You want to know how to disarm a terrorist? Use your head, lets come up with a better solution because this isn't working. The greatest weapon we have is our brains, a 3 pound organ that can contemplate its own existence, is self aware and most importantly can teach others.
We can teach acceptance, kindness, love and understanding. Will everyone be willing to do this? No. But all we can do is try to make a difference one person at a time, and that is what I am urging you all to do.
