Sofia Sanchez Captures The Hearts Of Many As She Waits For A Heart Donor

The 11 Year Old Drake Fan, Sofia Sanchez, broke the internet with a video of her dancing to Drake's "In My Feelings" as she walked down the halls of a Chicago hospital. The dance challenge went viral on Twitter in 2018, but Sofia blew all the other videos out of the water with her 2019 version. Sofia only wished for two things for her birthday: a new heart and for Drake to visit her in the hospital. Soon after her wish, the famous rapper Drake came to visit Sofia in the hospital. The excitement in the 11-year-old was contagious. The hospital wing she resided on had lifted spirits that lasted days after Drake left. Drake even gifted Sofia with an iPhone with his personal number on it in case she needs a friend to talk to. During his visit, Drake promised Sophia that if she gets a new heart then he would bring her up on stage during one of his concerts. Drake promised to serenade Sofia with his song "God's Plan."

Only one week after Drake's visit, Sofia got another surprise. The hospital had a donor and Sophia would be the one to get the heart. After a successful 9 hour surgery, in which the surgeon described Sophia as spunky and a fighter, she was able to return home. Her doctor says that she will soon be able to participate in cheerleading, gymnastics, and many more activities. Sophia says that she is most excited to see all of her teachers, classmates, and best friends. Good Morning America interviewed some of Sofia's teachers and the group had nothing but praise and admiration for Sophia's spirit. They said that she truly inspires everyone around her to celebrate life. Sophia still takes medicine so that her body doesn't reject the new heart inside her. She also must wear a mask when in public for now so that she doesn't catch any sicknesses. Even with all of the setbacks in Sophia's life, she consistently finds a way to make any situation she is in fun.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
