We live in a generation where people would rather talk online or text than talk in person. Communication is a vital part of a healthy relationship with people and we do a little of that now. Sometimes people will reply to you on a media handle and then not text you back. Other times people will post things on media just for the attention when they should just be focusing on themselves.
Our generation is consumed by what others thing and because of that we want to act like something we aren’t. On our media we want to impress people we barely know. Why front for people you don’t like? It makes no sense. Your media is just what you want people to think of you. We don’t need to post events for people to see. If the moment made us happy we should keep that memory for us. For example in engagement photos everyone shows the excitement of it which is understandable. But do you truly need to exploit that special moment you had? Do you crave the attention that deeply that you need to put it on handles just so people can validate the events you do in your life?
One of the handles I dislike the most is Snapchat because people put entirely anything on there (myself included). I mean why are we fronting for nothing? We should go about our days and get our things done and not have a concern about what other people think. The thing I dislike the most is when people put partying on Snapchat (myself included). If you are having that much fun in the moment then you shouldn’t be on your phone. We should worry about our happiness and ourselves and not about networks with people that are barely our friends.
Twitter is just a bunch of people that think they are smarter than everyone and they try to make everyone else’s opinion invalid. Twitter has a lot of people that post their feelings for a reaction instead of actually facing their problems. We should use media to help people and not to hurt other people’s feelings. We should use media to build up one another.
