Soccer season lasts a long time. From the beginning of the pre-season, to the championship game, any team will surely encounter highs and lows, reasons to celebrate, obstacles to overcome, inside jokes, favorite memories and one-of-a-kind shenanigans. Luckily, the characters on from the popular TV show "The Office" encounter all of these things as well and can help relate to the rest of the world exactly how these occurrences make soccer players feel.

1. When you're exhausted and coach is trying to motivate you.

2. When a player on the other team pulls the same move on you twice.

3. When the loser of a drill gets extra fitness.

4. When friends challenge your pre-game rituals.

5. When you don't want to shake the other team's hands after the game.

6. When you try to shake the other team's hand, but they're not having it.

7. Scouting the other team like:

8. Warming up for mid-afternoon games in the summer, on turf, when the heat index rises above 100 degrees.

9. When you show up to tryouts.

10. When you know you have a fitness practice tomorrow morning.

11. You want me to run a suicide in how many seconds?

12. Congregating with your teammates after committing a card-worthy foul.

13. When you take a hard shot to the thigh in below-freezing temperatures (it's worth it for the bruise, though!

14. When your coach decides to tape the game.

15. When you haven't hit the net all practice.

16. When you see visiting players from the other team in the bathroom before the game.

17. When you see your teammates for the first time after offseason.

18. When coach says, "Get on the line."

19. When your teammate has to leave mid-game and go to the ER for a broken bone, chipped tooth, or concussion.

20. When you have pit stains after practice, but have to go out into public.

21. Every time you have to tell your friends, "I can't, I have soccer."

22. And every time you celebrate the victories won, lessons learned or friendships made playing the game you love.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
