This calendar year of soccer has been one of the craziest ones that has ever been seen. From the heartbreaks to the surprises, it had everything that you could have imagined. Here are the five craziest matches to watch again in 2016.
5. Chile 0-0 Argentina (Chile won 4-2 on Penalties)
Chile and Argentina faced off in a rematch of the Copa America final last year when Chile triumphed on penalties, and all the headlines was on whether Lionel Messi would finally win a trophy with Argentina in his 5th attempt at a final. While the scoreline may reflect the game was boring, it was actually very intense. Both teams had a player sent off in the first half and Gonzalo Higuain missed a clear one on one chance with the goalie to win the title. Both teams were fighting with Chile goalkeeper Claudio Bravo forced to make a stunning save from Sergio Aguero. The tie could not be broken after 120 minutes which forced another penalty shootout. History repeated itself as Chile triumphed again in a penalty shootout sending Messi into tears, and for the third consecutive year Argentina failed to triumph in a final.
