Have you been in some weird kind of funk where the things you love to do slowly occur less often, when the music you are used to and the movies that cheer you up when you are having a rough day does not quite get the job done. You feel like you are kind of slowly losing yourself and have to rebuild everything that you are accustomed to. You begin to lose sleep, eat less, stress more and become well more unproductive. So, how do you get out of this funk because all you want is to get back to what you are use to and back to normal you?

Well, the first thing I think that is best for everyone is to carry on with your everyday activities. Whatever is happening that is throwing you into this strange funk you have to carry on because no matter what life keeps happening and you have to keep living. Also, remember that some days are better than others and it is okay to not be okay - just keep going.

The second thing - do not keep yourself down. Whatever is holding you down, get rid of it. Whenever the negative is overcoming the good it needs to go. Maybe it's people, a hobby, a tragic event or anything that is making you feel so down and out of sync with yourself.

Third - if you are the one who is holding yourself down then it's time that you find someone to talk to and find someone to help you live the extraordinary life that you deserve. Find someone who can lead you down the right path of becoming the person you are looking for.

Sometimes after being in these funks where you kind of lose your way from who you were and from where you want to go, you find yourself becoming a new person who you might not want to be. The best thing to do is to accept that you have changed and become the better version of you.

Maybe this is a sign telling you to find new passions in life, the things that you could love and get you through all the tough times. Who knows, you might find a passion in working out, cooking, reading anything that makes you realize how great life is and how you need to take advantage of everything life has to offer you. Or maybe it is finding your way to a new city, town or country or even getting a pet because everyone knows a pet is always going to be there and love you unconditionally.

I guess if you are in a funk I understand because I have been there and I am currently there. How I got here was out of my control. So trying to find your way back is a little more difficult and you have no idea how to face it. To be honest I am still trying to find my way back but the key is to keep living and to know that ever yday is worth it. The other key is surrounding yourself with the people who want nothing but your happiness.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
