As Thanksgiving is coming this Thursday I decided to look back at my life and find the top five things that I am most thankful for. Sometimes Thanksgiving to millennials is not looked at as a time to be thankful but more for a time to eat turkey and pumpkin pie. I want this to change this year so after you read this, write down a few things that make you thankful and share those with the people you love.

1.)Amazing parent's and siblings

I have been blessed to be in such an amazing family who loves and takes care of me. To my parents, you guys brought me into this world and raised me to be who I am today and I cannot thank you enough for that. I am thankful to have parents like you who protect me from the scary things in the world and love me for who I am. To my siblings, you guys were not probably expecting a sixth sibling but here I am! I am thankful for you guys initiating me into the "gang" and making sure I have an amazing life.

2.)Good friends

Never did I think that I would have found so many friends in elementary school that would remain my friends until today. You all know who you are and I will never be able to put into words how much I appreciate you guys for being there for me through thick and thin. I am forever thankful to have such amazing people in my life that I can cherish forever.

3.)Loving boyfriend

Last year at this time, I could have never imagined being with someone who I care about so much and can be myself around but here we are. Almost a year later and I still cannot believe how lucky I am to have found such an amazing man like yourself. I am thankful to have spent the past almost year with you and hope there are many more to come.

4.)Good health

I have learned that we should be more thankful about our good health because not many people have it. When my dad was in the hospital last December I realized that health itself is so very important whether it's your own or a loved one. I am thankful that my parents have made sure I remain in good health my first 18 years of life.

5.)A roof over my head

You cannot take having a house for granted because more people than you can ever imagine do not have a house. They do not have a warm bed to sleep in at night, food on the table in the morning or a family to come home to. I am thankful that I have been blessed with all of that.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
