Every day, life gives you a million reason to smile. Sometimes we look right past them. We go about our daily routines and don’t even think about what we are doing, everything just happens so naturally.

While walking to class we might pass a friend which will bring a smile to our face but most of the time we look past the little things.

Throughout the day we complain a lot. Instead of looking at the positive we tend to turn towards the negative. We complain about our homework, or a meeting we might have, or something as simple as the weather. We complain about so many different things that most of the time we don’t even realize that we do it.

Life is so much brighter when looking at the positive side of things. Even on the bad days just doing something as simple as putting a smile on your face makes a huge difference. Smiling is contagious and it makes everyone’s days so much better.

Through the fast pace of life, smiling helps slow things down and to appreciate the little moments.

Smiling helps with many things. Smiling helps with dealing with anxiety. Smiling helps capture a special moment. Smiling helps show the love for others. Smiling helps with fear. Smiling helps when there is a friend in need.

Smiling is a sign of happiness. Even on the hardest days, a smile can make the world of difference.

A smile is very powerful. A smile is a little line on our face that we often take for granted, but it is much more. It symbolizes love, friendship, happiness.

Just smile. It can turn someone’s bad day into a good day or even your own. There is so much positivity that radiates off of one smile. Smiling shows so much beauty in one little simple action. Everyone should smile every day and it changes your whole entire.

Many times a smile will lead to laughter. There is so much happiness when it comes to smiling. One little smile effects more people than you can think of.

Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?

My mother always says how important the "sister bond" is and with every year that passes I realize how right she is. Instead of writing a novel about all of the wonderful things there are about having a sister I decided to list a few of them instead.

Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.
