Everyone is looking for their forever type of love. Whether it happens through social media, through apps like Tinder and Bumble or you meet the "one" on the first day of school. We are always searching even when we don't know it. I may be biased a bit on this, but small town Iowa girls have something about them that make them perfect for any potential suitor. Being a small town Iowa girl myself, I know that there are qualities about us that outdo any other competition.

Small town Iowa girls have a better sense of community than "city girls."

Growing up with around 1,000 people within your community you get to know everyone pretty well. Everyone knows everyone and usually looks out for one another. Its not unusual for small town Iowa girls to pick this up in their manners by being friendly to everyone they meet and see. Whether its just giving someone a smile, a wave, or offering help. We are often noted and praised on our warm hospitality, friendliness and nurturing ways.

Small town Iowa girls aren't afraid of hard work and getting dirty.

Its something about living in a rural area; the sense of hard work is instilled into its people. Whatever a small town Iowa girl does, such as working on her academics, job, on the farm, on her future or on her passion. They go for the best and for it all. Small town Iowa girls aren't usually too afraid to get rough and tough either. Making them capable to keep up or outdo the "boys". There is no stopping a small town Iowan girl from accomplishing what they desire or what they need to do.

Small town Iowa girls come in many varieties of styles and taste.

Not every small town Iowa girl is "country" or a "hick." They range from country to alternative to preppy to many more styles. Like everyone else, they are much capable of having different sides to them. Take myself for example, I am not afraid to admit I'm country but I'm alternative too. I can go from rocking my favorite pair of cowboy boots and singing the latest country hit in the back of pickup truck to jumping into a mosh pit at my favorite pop-punk concert in my doodled-on old Converse.

Small town Iowa girls are capable to adapting to anything.

Whether it is to new music, food or to big city living which implies any place with a McDonalds or a Walmart for most of us. We adjust to things or a way of life easily. I partially think its due to Iowa weather as it can change so rapidly within minutes that it makes us so good at change.

Small town Iowa girls may leave their small town but the small town Iowa will never leave them.

You either never want to leave or you can't wait to leave, but there is something about the way your home town gets you deep inside. You love your home town in some way or another because it is home. This sense of home is ingrained into a small town Iowa girl that she is capable of making anywhere home.

There is no doubt in my mind that most small town Iowa girls are in some way the best type of girls to bring home to mom and dad, or even marry some day. We have qualities instilled into us that make us friendly, nurturing, fun and well-mannered because of how and where we were raised. So if you're lucky enough to meet a small town Iowan girl, you better catch her while you can.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
