In the crazy whirlwind that is our day-to-day life, it's important to celebrate and remember the things that make life worth living. If this post leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside because you find yourself relating, congratulations. You're doing life right.

1. Waking up at night and realizing you have a few more hours left to sleep.

Giphy

Some sleep is good. More sleep is better (don't quote me on that, doctors).

2. Discovering a new favorite song.

Giphy

Fresh jams are what we live for.

3. Getting an "I miss you"/"Let's hang out" text from someone you care about.

Giphy

No matter how cold and unfeeling human beings portray themselves as, we're really babies who just want love and attention.

4. Campfires.

Giphy

There is something truly irresistible about a campfire. It's warm, inviting, and mesmerizing. Whether you're alone or with friends, campfires always make great company.

5. Succeeding at something you thought you would inevitably fail at.

Giphy

It's that feeling you get when you score high on a difficult test, snag a job you thought you had a small chance of getting, or successfully navigate a strenuous social situation. While you should never live for success, or at least your idea of success, learn to appreciate your everyday victories—both the big and small. They will get you far.

6. (Warm) hugs.

Giphy

Deep down inside, we're all Olaf the Snowman. You'd be hard-pressed to find something that feels better than a sweet embrace from someone who truly cares about you and what you are going through, whether it's good or bad.

7. Road trips with your pals.

Giphy

Bad sing-alongs, getting lost in a new part of the world, spontaneous adventures, rolling the windows down as you speed down the highway—you cannot ask for better times.

8. Receiving and giving compliments.

Giphy

Whether the person is a friend or a stranger, compliments are powerful things. They can turn a person's day, mindset, or life around. That's how permanent they are. A compliment is one of the best things you can give to someone for free, so give more and give them often. The brightened look on the receiver's face will make it more than worth your time.

9. Looking at old photographs.

Giphy

Looking back on the "good ol' days" when we were younger with fewer worries is therapeutic. It's a reminder that life was and can be that simple, no matter how much we tend to overcomplicate it.

10. Doing something you truly love.

Giphy

Whether it's skydiving, playing with your band, traveling the world, or dancing alone in your room, true happiness is reached when you live life doing what you know you were born for. It might seem scary at first, but this life is too short not to go for it.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
