Sleeping Beauty

Wake up! I get up quickly from the Mat. I kneel in my position with my head bowed, eyes facing the floor. Master is here to do his daily check up.

His big black boots appear in my line of sight. His stare creates a hole in my back. His shadow makes the world darker in my little cocoon. I am trembling. What is he going to do now? His hand grasps my chin as he stepped down to my level. Master is in the mood for a game.

“Such beauty.” He mumbles. Master licks my face. His way of leaving his mark before I get sold off. My face remains blank. Master is testing me. He is always testing me to see if I can break. Most times I do as I flinch from his occasional groping. He wants me badly. I can see it in the way he looks at me. However it is against the rules. I am pure merchandise. I’m worth a lot of money. Thank god for the money. In some way it’s protecting me from master. Yet it encourages master to bend the rules.

“Beauty you have no idea how much I want you.” He sniffs my hair in deep pulls. My face stays neutral. Master kisses me hard. I can’t move for the fear he might beat me. His hand grabs my sex. I lose the façade. Master chuckles and pulls me to stand “Beauty you fail again.” I hold in the whimper threatening to come out. Master notices. He has a sixth sense when it involves me. Master sighs “Have I not taught you to never show your true feelings my dear, I really hate repeating myself.”

His eyebrow raised, my cue to speak when spoken to. I respond with a timid voice “I’m sorry.” Master kisses me again. He could never pass up the urge to break me down in small ways. I’m slowly giving up. I don’t think I can take this anymore except ending my life. “Beauty your are so precious to me, did you know that? ” I say nothing. Master smacks me. I am numb. “ANSWER ME!” he shouts as he ties my hands together so I can hang from the ceiling. I say nothing. Silence is his weakness.

The voices in his head rings clear. Master is furious. He stomps around the room looking for something. He pulls out a sheet of paper. My future is sealed. My nightmare becomes real. I never expected Master to go through great lengths to keep me. I smile. He must love me. He smiles. Who knew you can have everything you want. Master rush to hold me in his arms. “I love you.” I whispered against his ear. He shudders. He looks up, his blue eyes filled with tears. I giggled. His face shocked of my admission. I was aiming for that response. “ Master please untie me.” I bat my eyes prettily. Master is hooked as he cut the rope with his dagger. His hand slowly caresses my wrists to relive the pressure. Master is being a tease. Two can play that game.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
