This Is Your Ideal Sleep Position, Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Bedtime: everyone's favorite time of the day.

You come home, eat some food, do your 10-step skincare routine, brush your teeth, maybe watch some TV, then finally get to crawl into bed after a long day's work.

Right when you get into bed, you immediately fall into that one position: your go-to sleep position.

Since most of us sleep when the stars come out, it is only fitting that the stars have a little something to do with the position we like to sleep in.

I talked to people with different sun signs, and these are the most common positions every sign likes to sleeps in.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18): The Typical Sleeper

Although no single Aquarian is like the other, they are very dependable and always there for you as a friend. They like to sleep the 'typical' way: one arm bent up under the pillow, one leg straight out, and the other leg bent up towards them. Very reliable!

Pisces (Feb 19 - March 20): The Baby

When you make the motion of someone sleeping and put your hands together on your cheek like a fragile baby, it is fitting that that is how Pisces actually prefer to sleep.

As one of the most emotional signs, sleeping like this shows a lot of their personality.

Aries (March 21- April 19): The 'Anything Goes'

Aries are very impulsive people, so whatever they feel at the moment is going to be the best position for them to sleep in. It could be on their back, side, or stomach, anything goes!

Taurus (April 20-May 20): The Bed Hogger

A Taurus is a very indulgent individual, so when they finally get to go to bed, they want to SLEEP. They prefer to be sprawled out across the entire bed, preferably with the best and most expensive weighted blanket covering them up!

Gemini (May 21-June 20): The Chameleon

Gemini's are always looking forward, never in the past. That is why there is no one position that is best for a Gemini to sleep in, they have to feel what is right for them every night.

Cancer (June 21-July 22): The Mover

There is always A LOT going on under the surface of a Cancer. As one of the most intuitive signs, Cancer's never stop moving or thinking, and it is no exception when they are sleeping.

Leo (July 23-Aug 22): The Mummy

Leo's know how to own any room they're in, even when they're sleeping. The best position for a Leo to sleep in is straight on their back, so they can pop up at any moment and become the center of attention, just like always.

Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22): The Pillow Hogger

Virgo's are very smart people who like to think longterm. Knowing that it is good for your back, sleeping with a pillow in between your legs is the best position for a Virgo who is thinking ahead.

Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22): The Board

As the most indecisive sign, it is only right that Libra's just lay flat on their stomach when they sleep.

Scorpio (Oct 23-Nov 21): The Crazy One

Scorpios are NEVER afraid to blaze their own path and do not care about what other people think about what they do. Scorpios can be found sleeping in a sitting up position, without covers, or in any possible position, you can think of.

Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 21): The Field Goal

Sagittarius' are often defined as the most optimistic and outgoing signs, and they sleep as such. The best way for them to sleep is with their hands over their heads, celebrating the victory of another amazing sleep.

Capricorn (Dec 22-Jan 19): The Ball

While they can be very emotional and deep, Capricorns are the most guarded and hard to break signs in the zodiac. Sleeping in a ball is the most comfortable position for them because they know no one can get in.

Let the stars decide how you should sleep and it could make all the difference in your nightly routine. They know you better than you know yourself!

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
