Face it. We all break out due to hormones, stress, sleep deprivation, and bad weather. Online beauty gurus often suggest complex and expensive skin products leaving us all feeling overwhelmed. If you want to have better skin without spending your entire paycheck, then read my recs below.

Cleanser

https://www.amazon.com/ACURE-Brilliantly-Brightening-Facial-Packaging/dp/B003Z4OD24

The first product I use is a kelp and green clay cleanser/scrub. This will wash off toxins, makeup, and any natural residue on your face. Use it in the morning and night. It's $9.99 and can be found in Ulta, Amazon, and Target. Sea kelp helps to retain skin moisture, while green clay tightens pores to prevent further acne breakouts and exfoliates away dead skin.

Serum

https://www.amazon.com/Honest-Beauty-Radiance-Artichoke-Dermatologist/dp/B07NTPQRKV

Next, use a serum to help even out your complexion and prevent signs of aging through vitamin C. The addition of Vit C helps to get rid of facial toxins such as free radicals (a chemical imbalance that increases aging). This serum $21.99 on Amazon, and it does help to smoothen out your skin after scrubbing it. After using this, my skin feels as soft as butter.

Moisturizer

https://www.amazon.com/Acure-Organics-Anti-Aging-Natural-Bundle/dp/B00Z19WYTU/ref=pd_sbs_194_t_0/136-0690027-0710430?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00Z19WYTU&pd_rd_r=639269a1-4394-4e14-aadb-f23d3c756dbd&pd_rd_w=kSYBg&pd_rd_wg=UJao9&pf_rd_p=5cfcfe89-300f-47d2-b1ad-a4e27203a02a&pf_rd_r=NQRCBMWXP0WGB6BQXVK9&psc=1&refRID=NQRCBMWXP0WGB6BQXVK9

My last step is either Acure's Brightening Facial Scrub's Night or Day Cream moisturizer, depending on when you're putting it on. Moisturizer helps retain all the products for better absorption and prevents dry skin. Both these are around $26.00 on Amazon.

This entire regime is around $50, and definitely worth the time and effort. Drink water, sleep, and have flawless skin. Remember to take time out for self-care.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
