Which one are you?

Six Types Of Texters We All Know
Anderson Patterson

Are you the type of texter who solely texts with emojis or texts like you are writing a college essay? We all text differently, but as a whole, we have created up to six types of texters. With the use of emojis, pictures, different languages and now even GIFs, texting and messaging has become extremely advanced.

Believe it or not, emojis have been around since 1999 according to Emoji themselves. Japan researchers were the first to create them. Sure, they were probably ugly, large boxed pictures of stick figures, but it was probably the coolest thing ever back then. Doesn't that make you feel old? It seems emojis were only just invented in the past couple years, but really they were just updated to the very accurate faces and feelings we all go through daily.

Be honest and own up if you are one of these types of texters. It's OK, we won't judge (that much).

1. The Beginner:

This person still texts like they just got their phone in fifth grade. They use a lot of abbreviations like U, R and L8r.

2. The Parent:

Texting people like this feel like you're texting your parents. They always ask about slang words and what acronyms stand for.

3. The Creator:

This person likes to create acronyms for anything and everything they have to say. It is often confusing and sometimes ridiculous.

4. The Person Who Never Responds:

Why does anyone ever bothering texting this person? They never respond. When and if they do, it's usually hours later.

5. The Grammatically Correct Texter:

Basically, you might as well be texting your college English professor. These texters never leave a single word misspelled, a comma out of place or incorrect punctuation. They probably love sending long paragraphs as well.

6. The Emoji Texter:

This person over uses emojis for everything they say. It becomes more of a word puzzle than a message. Sometimes people can get really creative, and moms like to send corny emoji pictures, but they're still always interesting.

Alright, even if you can't get yourself to admit that you're probably one of these types of texters, I'm sure you can admit to knowing a few other texters who would fall under one of these categories. Although these seem a little out there, we all know it's very true that people actually text like this.

Next time you have some free time, Google funny Iphone message and click on pictures. Then, read the funny conversations that come up. I promise that any doubt after reading this article will soon be gone!

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
